Helping BGSU Students Win at Life... Against All Odds!
CALL FOR SUPPORT
What promises are made to achieve Theta Chi Gamma Mu Alumni Scholarship Foundation hopes and dreams?

Why do College students who have faced the unbelievable In their young lives find the motivation to take their next step? Without scholarships, mentoring and Internships... many simply will not!

With the numerous social and cultural challenges facing our college students today, it is all too easy for them to be knocked off course, “slip through the cracks”, and fail at life before they even get started. Some young people are lucky because they are competitors, who have the benefit of support from their parents, companions and most importantly – their professors. Professors may be the only positive adult relationship in a student’s college life, serving as a teacher, mentor, advisor, confidant, and advocate.

Theta Chi Gamma Mu Alumni Scholarship recipients are BGSU undergraduate students who have maintained high academic and community involvement despite facing significant personal challenges such as debilitating illness or disease, physical disability, tragic accident or loss.

Despite extraordinary circumstances, these individuals refused to be beaten and have endured, thrived, and inspired their peers, teachers, professors and advisors. They have demonstrated a strong spirit, lasting determination, courage, and the will to continue taking that next step, and the one after that, and the one after that, in order to live their lives to the fullest, just as many other Theta Chi Gamma Mu Brothers have done!

Who is the Theta Chi Fraternity, Gamma Mu Chapter?
For many of Theta Chi members, the brotherhood was the most positive influences in their college lives. The Gamma Mu Chapter wanted more for them than they wanted for themselves and we pushed them to earn it.

The Gamma Mu Chapter was dedicated to encouraging and inspiring student-members to reach their full potential as scholars, as worthy members of our University and Bowling Green, OH communities. In recognition of Gamma Mu Chapter’s remarkable accomplishments, longevity, and resolution, the Theta Chi Gamma Mu Alumni Scholarship Foundation, Inc. was formally established on January 15, 2016.

The Theta Chi Gamma Mu Alumni Scholarship is an enduring award and recipient names will be engraved on the Scholarship Plaque that will be displayed on the Gamma Mu Chapter “Wall of Fame”.

The Theta Chi Gamma Mu Alumni Scholarship Foundation strives to encourage student-members to return each semester until graduation, to continue
