Steven C. Williams is a Manager of Sports and Entertainment Marketing for Verizon charged with all motorsport marketing opportunities.  Steven received his BS in Journalism/Public Relations from BGSU in 1995 and his MBA from Miami University in 1997.  After teaching at Miami University, he went on to have a career in motorsport marketing for the past 16 years, working in the NASCAR and INDYCAR Series with companies such as DuPont, Pepsi, Miller, Alltel and Verizon.

Steven was an active member of the Gamma Mu chapter of the Theta Chi Fraternity.  Steven’s favorite memories of Theta Chi were winning the All-Sports Championship and the Beta 500, the OX Roasts and scoring a goal for the Theta Chi hockey team in its championship season.  An avid golfer, he still comes back to BGSU on occasion to take part in the Theta Chi Alumni Golf Tournament and indulge in Myles Pizza.

Steven lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife Jennifer (’00 Miami University) and their dog Archie.
