Steve Sweeney is from Findlay Ohio and enrolled at Bowling Green State University in 1992. He joined the Theta Chi Fraternity in 1993 and was a member until he graduated in 1997 with a degree in Environmental Policy and Analysis. During his time at Theta Chi he served as House Manager and Social Chair. He enjoyed being involved in intramural sports, philanthropic events, and community projects. Steve developed many close friendships during his time at Theta Chi and he still stays in contact with many brothers today. He has also met other Theta Chi members from other chapters during his professional career.

Steve currently works for Allstate Insurance as a Territory Sales Leader in Central and South Western Ohio. He has been with Allstate for 18 years and has held different management positions throughout Ohio and Michigan. He is currently responsible for driving profitable growth within a sales organization consisting of licensed insurance producers, business owners, and sales leaders.

Steve currently resides in Dublin, Ohio with his wife and eight year old son. He sees Columbus area Theta Chi brothers regularly and enjoys staying in touch with others through social media. Steve’s time as a member of Theta Chi was a time of personal growth as the chapter had a focus on leadership, integrity, and brotherhood.
