Ken Sippola is an experienced payments industry professional who leads the Global Payment Device Design Innovation function for Visa Inc. In his current role, Ken is responsible for advancing new payment form factors aimed at driving business growth while elevating the customer experience through design. Core to his professional passions, he also serves as a project consultant for financial institutions across the globe to ensure product objectives are brought to life through the creation and execution of impactful design solutions.
Ken has held a number of regional and global positions at Visa, including Brand Management and Card Design Services, covering disciplines such as: brand identity, naming, card features, card technologies, and design innovations.
Prior to joining Visa, Ken worked as the Head of Account Services and as a Management Consultant for McCorquodale Security Cards (now Oberthur Technologies) and as a Marketing Manager for Affinity Programs at First USA Bank (now JP Morgan Chase).
Ken graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1988 with BS in Business Administration and was a proud member of the OX Gamma Mu Chapter Fraternity from ’86-88. He resides in San Francisco, California with his family where he routinely enjoys the many outdoor activities offered in the beautiful Bay Area.
